1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using aloktheanalyst.com (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and anyone who accesses any part of the Platform, including the Practice Arena, Domain Knowledge Hub, AI coaching features, and any content.

2. Services We Provide

Alok The Analyst offers the following free educational services:

• YouTube tutorials — SQL, Python, and data analytics video content
• Practice Arena — Interactive case studies with an AI coach for aspiring and working data analysts
• Domain Knowledge Hub — In-depth written guides on real-world analytics topics (e.g. B2B SaaS marketing funnels)
• LinkedIn content — Career advice, SQL snippets, and analytics breakdowns
• 1:1 Mentoring — Bookable sessions via Topmate.io (subject to Topmate's own terms)

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time without notice.

3. Accounts & Registration

Some features (such as saving practice progress) require you to sign in using Google OAuth. By signing in, you:

• Authorize us to receive your basic Google account information (name, email, profile picture) as described in our Privacy Policy.
• Are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account.
• Agree not to create accounts on behalf of others without their consent.
• Confirm you are at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction).

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or systematically download Platform content or data.
• Abuse or circumvent rate limits on the AI chat, practice scoring, or any API endpoints.
• Submit false, misleading, or malicious feedback or content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or any backend systems.
• Use automated bots, scripts, or tools to interact with the Platform in ways that degrade performance for others.
• Reproduce, republish, or commercially distribute our content without prior written permission.
• Impersonate Alok The Analyst or any affiliated person or organization.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account termination and, where applicable, legal action.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including but not limited to written guides, case studies, code examples, video content, branding, and design — is owned by Alok The Analyst or its respective creators and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may:

• View, use, and practice with all content for personal, non-commercial educational purposes.
• Share links to the Platform and publicly available content.

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute case studies, guides, or course materials without written permission.
• Use our content to train AI models or create competing products.
• Remove copyright or attribution notices from any content.

6. AI-Powered Features

The Practice Arena includes AI coaching powered by third-party language models (Cloudflare Workers AI, Groq, and optionally OpenAI via your own API key). By using these features:

• You understand that AI responses are generated automatically and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information.
• You agree not to rely solely on AI-generated feedback for professional or production decisions.
• You acknowledge that messages sent to the AI coach are processed by third-party inference providers (see our Privacy Policy).
• If you provide your own API key, you are responsible for any charges incurred with your API provider. We do not store your key.

AI features are provided as educational tools and carry no warranty of accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose.

7. Third-Party Links & Services

The Platform contains links to third-party websites and services, including YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, Telegram, and Topmate.io. These links are provided for convenience only.

We have no control over third-party content and are not responsible for their privacy practices or terms. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party services you use.

8. Disclaimers

The Platform and all content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Guarantees of uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access
• Guarantees that content is current, complete, or accurate
• Career outcome guarantees from using any content, tutorials, or mentoring

Educational content on this Platform is intended to supplement your learning. Job outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Alok The Analyst shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the Platform
• Errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated content
• Unauthorized access to your data
• Any interruption or cessation of the Platform

In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months (which, for free services, is zero).

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

You may stop using the Platform at any time. To delete your account and data, email info@aloktheanalyst.com.

Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Sections 5, 8, 9, and 12 survive termination.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

For material changes, we will post a notice on the website.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
